FishTix is software for recording commercial salmon deliveries in Alaska and filing fish tickets with the State's eLandings system on behalf of the buying processor. The processor is the buyer of record and holds the eLandings account under which tickets are filed. FishTix is not a buyer, a processor, or an agent of the State of Alaska.
One person per account. Keep your sign-in to yourself; what is signed from your account is attributed to you. Tell us at once if you believe someone else has used it.
When you sign a fish ticket in FishTix you certify that the information on it is true and complete to the best of your knowledge and you agree that your electronic signature has the same effect as your handwritten signature. Signed tickets cannot be edited; a correction is a new version with a stated reason, and the original stays in the record. Until ADF&G formally accepts electronic signatures, the processor may also require a printed copy with wet signatures, which the app produces.
Weights, counts, areas and dates come from the people who enter them and from the scale on the tender. FishTix checks what eLandings checks and flags what it can, but the parties to a delivery are responsible for what they sign. If the State rejects a ticket, the app shows the State's message and lets the processor's office resend after a correction.
Use FishTix only to record real deliveries you are party to. Do not enter another person's permit or vessel as your own, alter weights after the fact to influence quality flags or payments, or attempt to reach data that is not yours.
The app is built to work without a signal and to file when one returns. We do not guarantee that eLandings, the networks between us, or our own services are available at any given time, and filing deadlines set by ADF&G remain the processor's responsibility.
During the pilot the service is provided to participating processors and their fleets without charge. Any later pricing will be agreed in writing with the processor, not charged to individual fishermen through the app.
To the extent the law allows, FishTix is provided as is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
